Me and Gemma have been have been having loads of difficulties trying to find an image of a woman to use on our kleenex boxes. We'd decided to use the male bodies that I'd drawn but with the heads that she'd done... but its soooo difficult to draw up a woman that worked in the same way the male characters did... everything has to line up... which meant trying to find a picture that was face on so that the shoulders and hips were perfectly straight... not easy. These are some of the tryouts that I did... I finally found one that worked... traced it all out on illustrator, finished putting a baywatch style swimming costume on it and then the bloody thing crashed. I'm not friends with illustrator anymore... haha. Technology hates me I think.
This was one of the first tryouts... the shoulders aren't level though and it was difficult getting everything to line up squarely...
For these images we found that tracing googled pictures of mannequins worked best for the body as the images are usually full head to toe shots... unlike most photographs for some reason? This prompted some funny looks in the mac suite... so if anyones reading this... it wasn't any thing dodgy... promise! lol.

I only noticed this after starting to draw Christina Aguilera's features... Wierd that she looks like a hooker :s

This is the model we're going to base the figures on...
